The Brief
The English Bed Linen Company is a producer of luxury bed linen and other bed & bathroom related products for households and hospitality use, such as hotels and cruise liners.
The English Bed Linen Company wanted to increase organic traffic to their website, building the reputation of the brand online to create a strong customer base. The USPs of the brand were their wide range of high quality, UK-made products, competing against a number of other well-established brands in the industry.
We utilised our experience to develop a digital marketing strategy targeted at increasing website traffic and boosting online sales. Using a combination of pay-per-click advertising and SEO, we were able to increase website traffic and drive product sales.
Our Approach
We launched a PPC campaign to allow us to increase advertising and expand the potential customer base. We expanded keyword coverage and developed a negative keywords list, stopping budget being spent on generic searches and focusing the campaigns on specific keywords, in addition to tapping into the potential of long-tail keywords. We also designed our campaigns around specific product types, maximising conversions by creating ads which appealed to multiple audiences.
To maximise English Bed Linen’s budget, M4B measured PPC generated website transactions, installing conversion tracking to identify where to allocate ad spend. Through campaign optimisations, we ensured traffic was directed to pages they would be most likely to convert on.
In addition to our Google Ads campaigns, we performed search engine optimisations to increase the amount of organic traffic to the website. We designed new product pages and created dedicated landing pages using an informational content strategy. Our keyword-focused content helped to propel the English Bed Linen Company to the front page for a variety of critical searches.
